Jonathan Krebs
Jonathan Krebs, CFA, serves on the Hattiesburg Convention Commission Board and brings nearly two decades of experience advising state and local governments on economic development, disaster recovery, housing, and large-scale public programs that strengthen communities and support long-term growth.
Throughout his career, Jonathan has led complex initiatives across the country following major disasters, helping governments design and implement recovery programs, secure federal and state funding, and rebuild critical housing and infrastructure. His work has involved billions of dollars in public investment and required close collaboration with elected officials, agency leaders, and community stakeholders.
Jonathan is a graduate of Hattiesburg High School, The University of Southern Mississippi and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. Hie wife, Jeri, and kids Jonah and Amos, live in Hattiesburg. He is committed to applying his experience to support tourism, economic vitality, and strategic investment in Hattiesburg and the broader Pine Belt region.
